Shows trot in pasture, has shown a bit of tolt too, is lightly built and friendly. Trots with very good speed range and footlift, and has a good conformation, a definite broodmare prospect. Excellent blodlines. Is being started under saddle. Knows how to stand tied, leads, lifts legs, carries a saddle and a bridle, longes. Is vice free and quick to learn, and courageous.

Skutla is an experienced children's horse, her main rider has been an 8 year old girl, on all sorts of trail. She has though not been trained much in her gaits, and trots with beginners, but will tölt for experienced people. A very pretty mare. Obeys the bit well, stops quite well. Is for a good price now, after she's starting to tölt for everyone the price will rise. Stands still for mounting. Goes alone out on the trails but tölts more easily if in company with other horses. Tolerates to be touched all over. Is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well.

Svala is quite experienced, and has carried beginners a few times and done well. She stands still for mounting on loose reins. She bends well in the poll and is soft in the mouth, has a perfect stop and turns superbly, very willing to please, outstanding temperament for a beginner horse. Tolerates too much leg and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well without becoming nervous. Tölts all the time so she's easy for people that aren't used to asking for tolt. Has some flying pace but isn't trained in it. The canter is good to sit on. She's easy to catch, tolerates perfectly to be touched all over. As bomb proof as a horse can be, not spooky and very courageous, goes wherever she's asked to go. Is used to both snaffles and the icelandic bit.

Was extremely easy from the first day when she was started under saddle, very couragous and calm. Unusually good nerves, doesn't tickle, doesn't mind the rider acting strangely or yelling, is not afraid of strange things, extremely promising as a beginner horse. Tölts and trots easily, strong conformation. Stands still for mounting, goes out alone. Perfect brakes, obeys the bit well. When not in training trot is her first choice of gait, in other respects everybody can ride her. Hasn't learned to bend in the poll well. The tolt is very smooth. Average speed range in both tolt and trot. The trot is with good beat and smooth. Very good on the ground, doesn't mind beingtouched everywhere. Ponies. As bomb proof as a horse can be.

Good gaits, a promising mare, has been started under saddle. Has been ridden quite a lot (ca. 8 months in her life). She bends well in the poll and is very soft in the mouth, has a very good stop. Freisting is a very honest young mare. She's been ridden for about half a year, mostly as a leisure horse on trails, but now she's with a good trainer and is now well along in her tölt training. Has a very good trot with nice speed range and average footlift. Has also a slow and up to medium fast tolt with clean beat, and average footlift. She is very easy to catch, and friendly. She stands still for mounting on loose reins, obeys the reins well, bends well in the poll and is soft in the mouth, stops well, but goes a bit fast in the walk right now as she's been working so much on the tolt lately. Very kind and good temperament. Goes alone out on the trails, tolerates strange behaviour from the rider and to be touched all over, doesn't mind the rider using a lot of leg, is a very un-spooky youngster, used to cars and dogs and other things on the trails (lives in a little town), is hard working but likes to relax too. This is a calm mare, without spookyness, and easy to be around. Is a bit goey, so needs a rider used to that, but has carried less experienced people, that are used to such horses with success. Tölt is first choice of gait but will trot if really asked for it. Both tolt and trot are super smooth. Goes alone out on the trails. Her owner has dozens of horses but rode this mare regularily through her pregnancy (the owner was pregnant, that is), as she was safe on her, and the ride was so smooth and comfortable. Fenja is a courageous horse, seasoned trekking horse and not spooky. She likes to go, is a bit forward, but obeys to stop well. She was carrying tourists this summer on trekking, and did nicely with not very experienced people. She can be a bit independent, and needs a master, but has no vices. A good prospect for lighter 5-gait shows/competitions. Tölt is the first choice of gait, she'll tölt for anyone, and has a good flying pace. She stands still for mounting. Goes alone out on the trails.

6.700 $ (600.000 ISK).

A well trained and easy to ride top-competition mare. Very good footlift and speed range.

Hulda has only been ridden a few times, but she's very willing to please, and both tölts and trots, and has a calm temperament. Is a full sister to the 1. prize stallion and Landsmot star Hilmir from Sauðárkróki, so if you're looking for a very colorful broodmare prospect, this is a gold nugget.

Dúkka is a big mare, and definite show horse. On a very tough sports-competition where the area's top horses were competing, last summer, she got into the finals, which is in this case very tough. She's been started and trained by a gentle rider, but only got into really professional hands last summer. She has got outstanding tölt, trot and canter, and has a very good potential for the showring and for the evaluations, with her good gaits. She's comfortably goey, but with very good brakes, bomb-proof and willing to please, a wonderful broodmare prospect. Will be in training at Langhús this spring. She stands still for mounting, is friendly in pasture, has clear gaits, goes alone out on the trails, tolerates to be touched all over and some strange behaviour from the rider, and is very experienced as a trail horse. Has had a foal. Backs, turns on the forehand, leg yields. Is a beginner horse at home, becomes goey when she's in totally new places and needs an intermediate rider then. 2. prize mare. Has had a foal.

Harpa is friendly and easy to catch. The tolt is smooth, with good footlift, and her first choice of gait (she'll tölt for anyone), with good speed range, and clean beat. The trot is extremely good, smooth, with good footlift, very flashy and with good speed range. Harpa stands still for mounting, trailer loads, baths. She is very soft in the mouth, bends well in the poll (to the vertical in all gaits if asked for it). Stops perfectly, is used to sound clues and obeys them well. Is comfortably goey but likes a relaxed walk too. Goes alone out on the trails. Rather experienced, has been ridden for a year, taken to a show, is used to dogs and cars. Turns on the forehand, leg-yields, backs. Show prospect. Tolerates to be touched all over. Is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well. Would not get upset by most beginners, but as she obeys the bit so well, a well balanced rider is better to give her the freedome to carry herself naturally, and show her best gaits.

An evaluated broodmare, with super characters at the evaluation, with good gaits and super temperament. Would also be an exellent showhorse, has been excellent in competition with a teenage girl. This mare is simply of the best quality. She had a foal this summer, but being shod and taken into training now. Went straight away in the first rides into a very good gear, she does not need a lot of training to be looking awesome. Goes alone out on the trails. Obeys the bit well, stops perfectly, is very soft in the bit. Footlift at horisontal all the time, for everybody, in all gaits. Has a very good speed range.

Hátíð is a good riding horse, very fun for the advanced rider to ride. Has been doing well in a 5-gaited show already (4th place out of 18 competitors). Tölt is her first choice of gait, smooth and with a clean beat and very good speed range. The trot is big, good to sit on, with a very good speed range and impulsion. Stands still for mounting on loose reins. Trailer loads. Will tölt for anyone, collects very well, dances on her hind end in the slow tolt. Stops perfectly. Is comfortably goey, and willing to please. Goes alone out on the trails. Has a lot of experience, been in a show and demos, musical rides and group ride. Turns on the forehand/ leg-yields/ backs. A good show horse, family horse and broodmare. Has been evaluated for conformation with 7.86. Tolerates to be touched all over. Is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well, doesn't get exited from exessive leg, doesn't run from spooky things, stops if she's in doubt, but is pretty courageous. Has very good flying pace, and it's good to sit the canter.

A 1. prize mare with good footlift, good speed range in both tölt and trot, and did great at evaluation last summer after not much training in her life. Goes alone out on the trails. Courageous, willing to go (goey), not hot, and with a very natural, high footlift. Has done excellent in the showring. Backs, turns on the forehand, leg yields.

A very calm mare, acts like a much older and more seasoned horse. Very willing to please, obeys the bit superbly, and is very smooth. Gets pacy in the fast tölt but has a very clean slower tolt, and good trot. With a tiny bit more experience she should get the faster tolt, and become a bomb-proof horse. Is very used to traffic. Has a good conformation, and is all in all a very attractive young horse. Is situated in Maine, was imported for resale. Has superb blodlines. Is in foal with Hilmir from Sauðárkróki, a 1. prize bay dun pinto stallion that is a Landsmót-star.

Good temperament, obeys the bit well, and is very willing to please. Both tölt and trot are easy to get. Is in foal. Has a very good pedigree, many higly evaluated relatives, f.ex is Þröstur from Skeljabrekku her brother. Is situated in Iowa, was imported for resale. Goes alone out on the trails. Will tölt for anyone. Was bred to the 1. prize stallion Sörli from Búlandi for a 2002 foal.

Lipurtá has an over average conformation, over average action, and makes a good appearance. She is very willing to please, has a raised neck and carries herself proudly, and will make an eye-catching trail horse. She is a bit forward going, but not goey exept if you like a fast horse, she feels it and loves to go faster. She also likes to walk, and covers a lot of cround in her walk. She does not prefer neither tölt nor trot, just goes in the gait you ask her to, and is super easy to change between gaits. The tölt is with crystal clear beat all the time. She has been ridden a lot, and has a lot of experience, and not afraid of strange things. Obeys the reins very well, and has very good temperament, she never balks in any way. Is a great mount for everyone but the most timid rider, a very honest horse. Is situated in Iowa, was imported for resale. Goes alone out on the trails. Will tölt for anyone.

Dúna was a great beginner's horse when she was in Iceland, with very smooth tolt (first choice of gait) and trot, and great conformation (exellent neck and a lot of mane). This is a very friendly horse, and has seen all sorts of strange things. She's been for a year in Florida. Due to changed circumstances her owner has to offer her for sale. Goes alone out on the trails. Will tölt for anyone.
