has been ridden quite a lot as a working horse, but not been trained very
much, doesn't stand well still and such. But he is very courageous
and spook proof, and tolerates just about everything the rider does, very
forgiving, tolerates to be touched all over. Goes as fast as you
ask. Loves to tolt (can be pacy sometimes, but always smooth), can
trot too. Won't be expensive, good for someone looking for a safe
horse for a very good price, that needs a bit more training to be perfect.
Obeys the reins well, stops well.

Gosi is very easy and experienced beginners and children's horse when ridden in company with other riders, but slow when going alone or in the front. Wants a bit to go home if ridden alone. Easy to catch. Trots and tolts quite easily. Stands still for mounting with loose reins. Very experienced. Very smooth to ride. Tolerates to be touched all over. Is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider perfectly. Tolerates traffic and spooky things perfectly.

It is easy to catch Leikur in pasture, and he's got wonderful ground manners, stands perfectly still for mounting with loose reins, is courageous and un spooky. Trot is first choice of gait when he's not in training, but when he's in training he's a tolting mill, and the tolt is crystal clear. Footlift a bit over average, and makes a very handsome appearance under rider. Obeys the bit very well, stops very well. When in full training and ridden by riders that love speed he's a bit too sensitive on the sides for beginners (becomes goey if too much leg is used), but he's been ridden on many other occations by inexperienced people and done wonderfully. Goes alone out on the trails. Very experienced. Turns on the forehand, backs. Very smooth tolt. Tolerates to be touched all over, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well.

Ari has good brakes and obeys the bit well. He is hard working and obeys well to go faster, but doesn't mind going slowly. Is quite easy to catch. All gaits are smooth and good to sit on. Trailer loads well. If allowed to choose the gait he goes a bit back and forth between tolt and trot, but it is easy to tell him in which gait to go. If surpriced he hurries, as his trainer has been trying to train him to become goey. Would need just a tiny bit of fine-tuning to become a beginners horse. Not spooky. Is very experienced, has been on trekking, and used as a family horse for all sorts of riders. Goes alone out on the trails. Ponies. Tolerates to be touched all over and is good on the ground. Is out in pasture now, but can be taken in training for fine-tuning if needed.

Gíraffi is one handsome guy, he's huge, and strong, with a huge mane. He's just green broke, but has a very good temperament, his trainer now is a 13 year old girl (under the guidance of her trainer-father). He's soft in the mouth, stops perfectly, willing to please, and doesn't spook and run because of scary things, goes everywhere if the rider is definite about it. Will become bombproof with more experience. Is first and foremost a tolter, loves to tolt, and in clean beat most of the time, always smooth. Will tolt for everybody. Can trot if asked for it, and trots in clean beat. It is good to sit the canter. Goes alone out on the trails. A very promising family horse and beginners horse, available for a very good price at this stage of his training.
Price: 2.800 $ (250.000 ISK).
Hrói has been for 2-3 weeks on trekking with tourists for many summers, and done well, been very safe with all sorts of riders. He's got a good conformation, a lightly built and pretty horse with thick but soft mane. Doesn't mind traffic or dogs. Both his tölt and trot are very smooth. He's easy to catch. Obeys the bit well, stops well. Is neither goey nor lazy, just goes as fast as you ask him. Goes alone out on the trails. Tolerates to be touched all over, is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well. Hasn't been ridden much lately and is thus out of training, is a good horse for someone looking for a horse for a good price, that needs some training to get into good form again.
Price: 2.800 $ (250.000 ISK).
Has easy tölt and trot, can be pacy in the tölt but is always smooth in the tölt. Hass carried people with little experience, and older children, with success. Will go out alone on trails, but becomes then reluctant to go close to spooky things (stops, does not jump or run), which he's not in company. Would do great in a riding school or on trekkings where he'd have company, or with intermediate riders alone on the trail. Will tölt for anyone.

Hrollur is a very experienced horse for everybody, he's been a children's mount, has carried countless beginners, and been a hard working horse at round ups with experienced riders. A very safe horse. Chooses tolt and trot equally, will tolt for anyone. Has quite some flying pace that is easy to get (he prefers that over cantering). Very strong and carries heavy riders easily, but takes good care of the tiny children. Stands still for mounting. Will tölt for anyone but can be pacy with beginners. Stops well and obeys the bit well. Goes alone out on the trails. Tolerates to be touched all over. Is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well.

A reliable horse, unspooky and smooth in the tolt, was trained last winter by an 11 year old girl. Has got lots of tölt and trot, but is a bit reluctant to trot. Has over average footlift, and makes a handsome appearance under rider. Likes to go if the rider likes to go, but doesn't mind going slowly, is very good in the bit. Great temperament. Has very good canter and strong legs with good hoofquality, with boots he lifts over the horisontal. Stands totally still when mounted. Is very fun and safe to ride for both less and more experienced people. Goes alone out on the trails. Will tölt for anyone.

Faxi is with an awesome footlift, lifts to the horizontal all the time and even over the horizontal, for everybody. Has been used a lot for kids and beginners, but he can go fast and is not for timid beginners even though he's got a very honest temperament. Stands still for mounting on loose reins, tolerates leg and strange behaviour by the rider withouth getting upset. Goes in perfectly clean tolt all the time exept can be a bit pacy in the slowest tolt. The tolt is very smooth, and his first choice of gait, he will gait for everybody. Has a very good speed range in the tolt. Will trot too when asked for it, with far over average footlift, but not a big speed range. The flying pace is quite good, but hasn't been trained much. The canter is good to sit on. Faxi is as bomb-proof as a horse can be, and has been a great kid's horse. Goes alone out on the trails. Does not stop on the dime, but obeys the clue for stop well. Has show potential in tolt and ligther classes in 5-gait, as well as having potential as a beginner horse. A good horse for a good price. Tolerates to be touched all over. Is good on the ground, and easy to catch.

Hringur is a very seasoned beginner's horse, and has taught dozens of children and teenagers the joy of riding and tending to a horse, as there are many children that spend their summers at his farm, and he's also been one summer in a riding school. His first choice of gait is trot, but it's not difficult to ask for the tolt, and the kids have been fast to get the hang of it. Stands still for mounting on loose reins. Soft in the mouth, stops perfectly. Goes alone out on the trails, very courageous, pretty much bomb proof. Both tolt and trot are very smooth, and it's good to sit on the canter. Tolerates to be touched all over, and crawled under. Is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well. Has an extremely rare and fun color.

Gjafar is now very experienced, has been ridden more or less for 2 years, and been with a good trainer for a few months now. Stands still for mounting on loose reins. Bends well in the poll in the tolt, but was ridden with too high head carriage by the former owner, and that is being worked on now. Turns on the forehand/leg-yields/backs/ground drives in walk, tolt and trot. Doesn't stop on the dime but obeys the stop clue well. Is a bit goey. Carries himself very well under rider. Is increasing his speed range in tolt, goes well in slow and medium speed tolt. Carries himself very well off the forehand, and has far over average footlift. The trot has a very good speed range and footlift, and this horse has a lot of show potential if trained more. This is a very good and colorful show prospect for a good price. Gjafar is very good on the ground and easy to catch. He's used to novice riders, and tolerates some strange behaviour very well. Might be too goey for timid beginners.

A seasoned childrens horse. This is though not the typical childrens horse, as he has very good footlift, nice flying pace, an outstanding trot, and a tölt with a good footlift but is pacy for beginners. This is thus a good horse for light competition, when he's got a bit of weights on, and even a bit tougher competition. With a rider that is a bit used to riding tölt, he's just pacy for the first minutes in the ride, then he cleans the tölt. Bassi has smooth tölt as first choice of gait. He has been been trained for about half a year by an excellent trainer, has a very good basis for future development. Is willing to please, sometimes with a tiny bit of go, but easy for everybody but the most timid riders. Stands still for mounting by rein contact. Has very clean gaits, and good speed range. Goes alone out on the trails. The tolt is smooth, the trot is big but not uncomfortable, and it would be easy to train him into being a tolting machine that tolts all the time. Tolerates to be touched all over. Is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well. Will tolt for everybody, very smooth. It is good to sit the canter. This horse got special love from his owner when he was foal, as, after an unplanned love affair his mother gave birth to him at this highly untraditional time of year. He has good movements, a lot of impulsion in the trot, and an easy tolt. Carries himself very well under rider, possibly a prospect for shows, but definitely a prospect for a flashy riding horse. He's willing to please, and tries his best, is soft in the mouth and fast to learn. Very inexperienced, but a joy to ride. Has been started under saddle for 3 months, when he came back from the trainer, and his owner, that is an old man, rode on him (and other horses) to drive the herd of horses (50 horses) to the highlands. 4. October behaved perfectly, and just went in a pretty tolt after the herd like he'd never done anything else (and a big herd is a very exiting thing for a horse). Will be easy to continue training for not very experienced trainers. Will tölt for anyone. Stops well. Goes alone out on the trails. Turns on the forehand, leg-yields, backs.

excessive legs without getting exited. Good appearance under rider,
with a raised neck. Trots if asked for it, a bit coarse but with
clean beat. Goes alone out on the trails. Tolerates to be touched

Likes to go fast as soon as he's asked, but doesn't mind going slowly. Sire: IS19-77.1.57-350 Feykir from Hafsteinsstöðum (a famous 1. prize stallion that has thrown a big number of outstanding offspring).

Brimill is a horse that can do it all, go to shows, go on long trail rides and trekking, be a loveable family horse, and should be quick to become a very safe beginners horse. He went to a big and high-level 4-gaited show this summer and got into the finals there, past dozens of high-level competition horses. Brimill is very experienced, has been trained a lot. Stands still for mounting on loose reins. Willing to please, has sometimes the slightest bit of go, and it is easy to ask him to give his full, but he is also very grateful for going slowly. It is easy for couragous novice riders to ride him. Has very good appearance under rider. Tölts in clean beat all the time, and smooth. Will tolt for everybody. Perfect stop. Has very good footlift and speed range in the tolt. The trot is with clean beat and good speed range. It is good to sit on the canter. Goes alone out on the trails. Tolerates to be touched all over. Is good on the ground, and tolerates some strange behaviour from the rider very well. As bomb prooof as a horse can be.

Kóngur is a very unsual young horse. He is being started under saddle. Has the gorgeous color, great mane, is a huge horse, with a long and extremely well raised neck, nice speed range in the gaits, good footlift, this is an outstanding and eyecatching competition horse prospect. It's unlikely you've ever seen a horse anything like him.

Blakkur is very courageous, calm and experienced. Has participated in shows, round ups, trekkings, musical rides, demonsrations, carried a rider with flag on several occations, seen it all. Has carried children and beginners with success, but is also a fun horse for a more experienced rider. Can go fast because it's easy for him, but likes slow work a lot too. If you want to combine a show horse and a lesson horse and a children's horse, this is it. Does back/turn on the forehand/leg yield, but not perfectly. Tolerates excessive leg and strange behaviour from the rider very well. Doesn't stand always perfectly still for mounting, but in most cases he does. Can carry top-show-weight on his legs with ease. The tolt is easy to get, crystal clear most of the time and easy to keep clear, easy to get, he tolts for everybody. Has a very good footlift at the faster tolt, average in the slow tolt. Has a good speed range in all gaits. He trots well, has a big-horse trot with good footlift and speed range, and average smooth to sit on. Has abilities for a nice flying pace, but it's untrained. Does not mix tolt and pace at all. It is good to sit the canter. Is very good on the ground, tolerates to be touched all over. Bomb proof. Has taken one 1. prize and one 2. prize in 4-gait in smaller classes (about 20 riders).
