Rules regarding showing
at evaluations.
Three
judges attend to the shows, and make up the jury.
The
judging committee works in a judging cabin, from which there is a clear
view of the whole judging area.
The
horses are ridden and judged under saddle on a broad, straight track.
The
horses are measured on a concrete platform.
A
horse that is presented for studhorse judgment, should be healthy and not
injured, well fed and groomed. The horse should be carefully shod,
but may be unshod if it is only presented for judgment of it's conformation,
but in that case the hooves should though be well trimmed.
The
rider should only go 3 times down the track and back again.
The
use of any pads or soles between the shoe and the hoof is not allowed.
Boots
(hoof- and leg protectors) are allowed, but their weight must not exeed
120gr (4 ounces), and their color must be black or brown.
The
following bridle equipment may be used:
a)
Icelandic bits, snaffles in 2 or 3 sections, and similar bits that help
prevent the horse putting it's tongue over the bit, as long as they do
not harm the horse.
b)
Nosebands, english nosebands, Hannover crossed nosebands, Mexican crossed
nosebands.
c)
All usual headstalls that do not cause inconvenience to the horse.
All
other equipment, including tiedowns, are not allowed.
