Röskva's youth.
Röskva was an extremely
fast learner. I've had really to use my imagination to figure out
new things to teach her. Here she is just 80 days old, and she's
learned to STAND still...

SIT...

...and LIE.

When Röskva was a puppy,
she loved playing with our other dog, Stássa. She is still
today quite a prankster towards Stássa (even though Röskva
is considered grown up now ; )...

...but they love each other
anyway.

Ready, set, go... shows ahead!

When Röskva was almost
9 months old, I took her for the first time to a dogshow. It was
an international show in Reykjavík in march 1998. There she
was:
Best young Icelandic sheepdog
in show.
Best Icelandic bitch in show.
C: Lukka.
In march 1999 I took her to
an international show in Reykjavík
(290 dogs, 42 breeds of dogs
attended the show).
She got a degree as an
international champion, but she was also:
Best young Icelandic sheepdog
in show.
Best Icelandic female in show.
Nr. 3 in Best dog in show.
Here is a newspaper clip (Morgunblaðið)
from when she got the title
Best Icelandic dog in show.
Here is a newspaper clip (Dagur)
from when she got the title
Nr. 3 in Best dog in show.
In october 1999 we went to a
dog show where Röskva became best Icelandic female in show (2. best
icelandic in show), and became an Icelandic Champion.
She was also the high-point
Icelandic dog the year 1999.
In June 2001 Röskva gave
birth to a wonderful group of puppies, the father was Snælukku-Kátur,
an Icelandic champion with great temperament and a very successful show
dog. We are intending on breeding Röskva again for a 2002 litter
of puppies.
