Description:
This color is very similar to white, and propably usually not distinguished
from grey horses or cremello horses. So there is no icelandic name
for that color. A rare color combination.
The mare is perlino. Nett from Reykjum. The foal developed into a smoky
black horse (and in that way showing it's creme gene). C: Linda Bergström.

Some genetics:
The perlino is caused by two
Ccr genes on the C-locus, just like a cremello. The difference between
a cremello horse and a perlino horse, is that the base color is chestnut
in a cremello horse, but bay in a perlino horse. The Ccr changes
all the red hairs in the bay coat into yellow hairs.
