The Icelandichorse should have a long, raised and fine neck, with a good bend in the poll. The neck should be well set on the withers, the withers should be high and well made, the shoulders should be sloping.
What are considered faults are mainly:
Eweneck
Bad throatlatch, with meat in the throatlatch (thick throat)
Dip in the neck (hollow neck, a concave curve in upper neck line)
Low set neck
The neck is implanted deep
Short neck
Low and flat withers
Straight shoulders
Stiff shoulders
