In our breeding programme we look for quality, not quantity. The stallions we use are with top temperament, of top blodlines, and with top evaluations. We also take good care to match the right stallion with the right mare. The mares have good temperament, clear gaits, and a strong conformation. They are all with a show record, have been evaluated and/or competed with a good success in competitions and demos. We train our horses ourselves and know them through and through. Our broodmares are chip marked, blod typed/dna typed, and the offspring are thus with A-registration (the A-qualified registration). The foals are halter trained, and learn to lift legs and have their feet trimmed, be groomed, trailer loaded and other basic handling, when they are weanlings (within 1 year age). Here you can see our broodmares and a list of their offspring. Because of Icelandic grammar, the farm name Langhús becomes Frá Langhúsum when the horses are registered, so Langhús and Langhúsum is the same farm.
