Silver horses.

There is the same gene lying behind both the silver dapple and silver bay horses, there is just a different base color.

Other silver horses.

The silver colour in the mane can be seen in all horses that have black hairs in the mane and tail.  The silver colour can thus appear in all colours exept chestnut, yellow dun, and palomino.  Examples are:

Bleikvindótt:  When a horse is silver bay dun.
Moldvindótt/leirvindótt:  When a horse is silver buckskin.
Moldvindóttskjótt:  When a horse is silver buckskin pinto/skewbald.
